NG/32 is also situated on the boundary between the permanent and seasonal swamps. Two major river
systems transect the Area, namely the Santantadibe River on the east and the Boro River system on the west.
The Santantadibe and the Boro rivers are considered as one the principal secondary distributaries of the
Delta. The concession area is bordered to the north east by the Gomoti River system
1.2.3. NG/32 is designated as a community wildlife management area and is run by the Okavango Kopano Mokoro
Community Trust (OKMCT) comprising village of Ditshiping, Daunara, Xuxao, Boro, Xaraxau and Xaxaba.
The OKMCT has signed the joint venture agreement with Johan Calitz Hunting Safaris (Pty) Ltd Zone 2, Silver Spear (Pty) Ltd Zone 3 and Abercrombie & Kent Zone1.
OKMCT drill boreholes and install water engines that supply the whole village with water in all settlements that benefit from the trust.
Building houses for the old age people in the communities for shelter and protection from wild animals and bad weather.
Hygen is the first priority to the community as it contribute to a better healther environment. OKMCT provide such to the community as one of the benefits they get from the tourism sector through their community trust.
OKMCT realised that early childhood Education is very important to children and build such facilities to provide education for children in these rural settlements.
Even though people from these areas do not base much into farming OKMCT has seen it vital to construct a cattle crush for farmers in villages where they are able to keep lifestock.
Every settlements with safari activities has been provided with a Mokoro station where all mokoro activities are booked and arranged for those who sell mokoro activity for a living in the community.
The NG/32 has constructed access bridges for the communities and clients to easly reach their settlements and mokoro stations for their activities since most of the areas are flood plains.
OKMCT has created employment for the locals especially those coming from the rural settlements by buliding day care centers and play grounds where most are employed to perform some of the duties, e.g teachers and cleaners.
